SRH is among one of those teams who are able to find the play-offs spot quite consistently through the years. But after getting such get starts, they keep are unlucky to convert them into Trophies.
David Warner’s led team will kick start their journey from 11 April 2021.
While all-rounder Mitchell Marsh pulled out of the Indian Premier League 2021 due to personal reasons, it would be interesting to watch how the team makes up for this as Jason Roy has been already named as a replacement.
SRH buyed Kedhar Jadhav, Mujeeb and J Suchith in their auction this year and the team look pretty much balanced.
The SRH performance sheet suggests that the think tank of head coach Bayliss, bowling coach Muralitharan and mentor Laxman has always emphasised on all-round strength.
Strength: Team has some great quality experienced individuals like Warner, Williamson, Roy, and Bhuvi, Rashid in the squad. Have some great young players having great potentials like Natrajan, Abhishek Sharma, P.Garg, A.Samad to name a few. The team’s bowling also looks great with the addition of Mujeeb. Holder also provides them great flexibility.
Weakness: The team lacks profundity. SRH has not so sound middle order. Dependent heavily on their top-3.But with the addition of Kedar Jadhav, this fate may also change. Other than this, the team looks solid.
What to Expect: Sun Risers Hyderabad has the potential to get into the playoffs quite easily. They have great coaches and staff that will motivate the young guns to deliver at the right moment. Sun Risers Hyderabad has always been a team that defends the target well, so that might favor them this time too. With some great opening matches, the team tone can be set and Sun Risers Hyderabad can book their seats for the playoffs.
Key Players: Warner, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kane Williamson, Natrajan
